The designing phase of the creation process was driven by the intent to combine a strangeness, a curiosity with practical, industrial design. In designing the fan's "mouth", I aimed to echo the curiousness of the Dandelion's seeds mysteriously floating through the air.

I have always been fascinated by the way designers integrate elements from nature with daily use product design. Mimesis, as its name implies, seeks to trace the movement of Dandelion seeds in the air and thus convey the magic of nature into the home environment.
